Our Story

We are a community united by a shared vision ‘to see every surfer have access to a surf-friendly church.’ The Surf Church Collective unites people from all walks of life — church leaders, musicians, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, students, teachers, artists, and missionaries — joining forces to carry out a global action plan to plant churches for surfers. The Collective is a hub for learning, support, and mission; equipping individuals and communities to bring this vision to life.

Our Mission

We exist to empower people who help plant surf-friendly churches. Here’s how we live out this mission:

We train and release people to help plant surf-friendly churches that continue to multiply across the world.

We offer practical resources and personal support to equip leaders in building healthy, sustainable church communities.

We focus on unreached surf communities, combining prayer and mission with our strategic partners to expand the reach of the Gospel.

We work along side Christian Surfers, Groundswell Aid, Share Jesus International and many others.

Our Statement

We believe that there is One God who created all things, and exists in three persons:  The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.  We believe that God is both completely loving and completely just.  

We believe that Jesus Christ, born as human and yet fully God, lived a sinless life and died a sinner’s death, making a once-for-all payment for our sins.  We believe He rose again from death and ascended to Heaven, where He reigns with God the Father and will return again once more to rule eternally. We believe in the indwelling Holy Spirit who empowers us as we journey toward sanctification. The Bible, God’s Word, is the ultimate authority on God’s plan and instruction for our lives.  

We believe in the Church as the gathering of those who believe Him and His Word, who are called to function as His family on earth and tell others of the good news of this free salvation through faith.  

We believe that we exist to glorify God in our decisions and conduct, and to extend the knowledge of His love to all people.
